So on the Introverted/Extroverted spectrum, I am a social Introvert. I like people, and I like to be around them from time to time, but I get most of my energy from being alone. I am a homebody, and crave the nights where I can stay in and pamper myself. My boyfriend, on the other hand, is very extroverted. He actually gets sad/depressed when he's not around people. He wants to hang out every day, and he doesn't like to be alone. I love him, and he brings out the social side of me, which I like. But sometimes I need a break (not from him, but from others). We have been together for 3 years, and he has come to understand that we are different and have different needs. He has learned that when he invites me out with friends and I say "no", its not a rejection to him, which he used to take personally. He understands it a lot more, but he still struggles with it from time to time.
My worry, is how can we make this work, now that we're discussing moving in together?

You're gonna have to learn to compromise as he will probably want his friends over from time to time. But it shouldn't be too much of an issue since you said you're a bit of a social introvert. But just communicate about it with him especially if you feel there are times you won't be able to compromise. But that's what relationships are all about. You have to give a little for it to work.
Why do you believe moving together will change what you already both understand from each other?
