In ways… Trust me both sexes have their weird ways about them. Not everyone, but a lot. Men get insecure over very weird stuff so do women.

People who get jealous tend to be insecure people. In some situations, it’s pretty valid to be jealous such as if someone’s openly flirting with others. But if you genuinely trust someone then why? Someone who has integrity and is loyal won't cheat even when the opportunity comes around. A cheater will cheat….

Every human, regardless of their sex can be jealous and I wouldn't say men or women are more jealous than the other.

Mens jealousy tends to stem from sexual reasons and women's jealousy tends to stem from emotional reasons. Men tend to react more aggressively than women and potentially get violent whereas women tend to be more manipulative.

It's hard to say objectively which of the sexes is more jealous by nature, as we're all creatures of emotion.

Where and how do you come to that conclusion? I've seen like only two women in my life do that. Most women give up work during early childcare, work part time and have no career (doing cleaning, retail or barista work) and suffer from lower income, lower pensions, lower safety net of savings due to raising children. And that's just western women. Women of other countries are even more likely to never work and only look after house amd family.

Every woman I've talked to or seen my age ween to college and insisted on putting career first. Even my mom started out that way and ended up changing her mind after she had me and she stayed home

Ah yeah I didn't notice your age. But women around 20 are not going to be thinking maternal thoughts so it's natural in thos society that your encouraged to go college and think of a career. Majority of those women WILL most likely be like your mum and once they have a baby will stay home. Mainly cos it's hard to leave your baby and also hard to juggle work and family. Some do just because again society here (uk) doesn't pay enough to allow men to support a family on a single wage. The system is not designed to encourage marriage and traditional values. I had more money than ever on benefits and not working when I split from my husband than I ever did in my marriage with us both working. Me just part time after one year staying home. Him full time. How crazy is that?

I live in the USA and it's a bunch of bullshit that people say you can't raise a family on one income. They refuse to make sacrifices for themselves so they are unable to provide for their family or they decide that 40 hours of work should be enough to support their family. I work 50 hours a week and I make 60,000 dollars a year. My dad makes similar money and he manages to support my 2 sisters, my brother, and my mom all on one income here in Tennessee. He has been able to keep this up without fail for the past 20 years so I don't think anyone has an excuse that it's "unreasonable" or "impossible" to do it in this modern world. I have seen in person the people who complain about these things to me and when I examine their way of life it says it all, they drive a 50,000 dollar car with a 200 dollar monthly car payment, they have 3 credit cards, and they have no financial self discipline. Sure it's more difficult to raise a family under one income when it's as low as 40k a year but it's not impossible.

I don't know. Sure people in careers like doctors and lawyers and maybe police etc earn a good wage but like my husband didn't drive. He rode bicycle to work. I drove so we shared one car/costs. He did smoke and drink. But rental/housing costs here are crazy.
A full time average wage here is £2000 a month and rent before bills and food and council tax and necessities in my area is easily £1200 a month for 2 bedroom. I dont know if it's true but I feel housing is more affordable Iin USA?

Housing is about the same here in the usa. Your main expenses that are holding y'all back seem to be the smoking and drinking habits. They aren't cheap

At end of month after outgoings we had £100 each to spend. All of his went on his habits. Smoking and drinking. I don't smoke and I didn't drink much then so all mine went on extras (toys, treats, activities) for our daughter. It did annoy me but smoking and for him drinking ( a functioning alcoholic) he couldn't just stop his addictions. To him they were essentially like buying food. But it was unfair.

Never. I don't believe in buying on credit. I used credit cards to build a good credit score but I didn't borrow. I'd spend on credit and have the money already waiting to pay it in full each month. When I was young and starting out. I haven't used credit cards years now Tho.
I've always been good with money but I've never had a career. So minimum wage jobs. But I was one that organised us getting married, a car, moving out of my mums. We travelled a lot rather than save for a mortgage tho. It was important to feel there was something good to look forward to against just working.
But I've been single long time now and doing very well financially. I only get money troubles when I involve a man in my life!

You’re conflating statistics and news stories with guys who catch their wives cheating on them in their house followed by him killing the man she was cheating with, or just her, or both, and often themselves after. I don’t think that should be used for simple envy/common jealousy. Women have done the same thing, they often use or kill their man’s kids when he divorces for another woman or is caught cheating by her.

Both genders are sexually jealous of partners and quite a few species show sexual jealousy as well.

However women display jealousy over other women's success that men generally don't experience with other men. That might be over the attention the other woman receives or material aspects of her life or the quality of the partner she has.

There is some evidence that influencers are addictive to women due to jealousy.

It is not a mistake that jealousy is a trait that is associated with women.

I think it's a different type of jealousy. Men tend to be jealous of guys who are more talented than themselves; I was in sales for more than 40 years, and owners, managers, etc just go nuts when someone who ranks below them in the pecking order makes more money than them, even for a short period of time. Women tend to be jealous over looks or material possessions, cars, etc.
