Girls, do you want men to approach you?

Question

So I've seen some videos on social media of women fearfully lamenting that men don't approach them, that men these days don't approach women enough, and that feminism has scared them off and ruined dating.

Now, this is the internet, so I know that most of it is either fake or sensational outliers, but I want to know the truth. Is it for real?

Would you want men to approach you? Not just your crushes (this is no fairy tale). It means most guys who approach you are average joes, some are some busted ones, and then you get the occasional charming guy who makes your heart skip a beat. Would you take the deal or leave it?

I am married, but if they are after genuine friendships, they can approach, and they often do. A man talked to me just this morning, so it still happens. This BS that the bitter trolls come out with about “women don't want men approaching” is just total nonsense.

I think for the most part, women want a guy to approach with some conversation first. They want to feel seen in a way that makes them feel validated. And maybe that word is a bit strong.

the opposite would be approaching and making her feel like the object of your sexual desire. So maybe it’s best to think of it as , you’re trying to make a connection by finding a rhythm of communication she responds well to.

you could banter about anything. If she’s attracted to you, she’ll talk about anything because she wants to get to know and wonder about you. If not, she’ll make her body language less inviting, create distance and contribute less quantity or quality to the conversation. And if you can pick up on that and smoothly end the conversation before she feels uncomfortable that she doesn’t know how to end the conversation then I think their usually happy to be approached.

It’s not that complicated
All women would enjoy being approached in theory
The reality is many are taken, or might be having a bad day
So in the in moment they’ll be against it

But since they don’t advertise these things on their foreheads all you can do is make the approach in a casual and respectful way and if she’s not interested wish her a good day and walk away
Even if then she’ll be flattered by your interest

But when the approach is creepy and pushy and just a bad experience she’ll be tempted to reach for the pepper spray

The one thing to always keep in mind is that women respond to experiences more than logical thought analysis.
If you give her a good experience nothing bad can come of it
And if she’s single you’ll get a date out of it

and you already know this... the internet is full of bullshit, and what most women want is for you to be your own man out there in the real world instead

The problem comes when the approacher, the guy in this instance, doesn't take no for an answer, or reacts poorly when they do.

I think that's mostly the issue for most women, it's the reaction afterward.
