The truth is that everyone IS a little clueless in dating. Practice not overthinking. You’re there to get to know the girl a little better and to share one or two things about yourself. That’s all. For the first date in particular. Here’s what my guy friends use as a common dating rule:
1. The first date is there just to make sure you get a second date.
2. The second date is there just to make sure you get a third date.
3. The third date is to figure out whether or not she’s a keeper.
To this I would add…
1. The first date is the SHORTEST date (30-45min) to see if you can chat well together.
2. The second date is a planned (fun) activity and (if things are going well) a little physical contact.
3. The third date is an activity that’s closer/dearer to you and (if things are going well) a little more physical contact.
The positive physical contact reinforces that there should be a next date. Take it slow even if your blood is simmering for the girl.
Everyone is not a winner. There will always be losers.
You pick your lane and run with it.
I already hate job interviews, dating is like the same
