What are your best and worst experiences with blind dates?

Having that blindfold on all night really sucks and on our first date we went miniature golfing

Heads up dont do it as a blind date because she hit me with 4 golf balls and if you do do that
make sure you mark your balls some how
because there were 4 cracked windshields in the parking lot and we had to split the cost on that because we weren't sure who did it that was a crazy night
So we decided to try it again the second night and we went to the goatcart track and that was worse because we kept running in to people and then I couldnt find her for about 2 hrs because some how she drove off the track and was about a mile away she ran out of gas and as I was going home I seen her walking in a Walmart parking lot. Running in to cars so I picked her up and she agreed our second date was just as bad..

So being good sports we decided to try it one more time this time. We went to a club

And out of all three date i decided this was the best one, because at the end of the night somehow she changed, because i was taking home another girl. she still had her blindfold on

And I never did see my other date again. So I just kept dating the girl that I left with

And according to her.\nWe had an easy because her first blind date, her in the guy she went parachuting. She said you never want to do that

So I agree , i'm about done with blind dating , that's for sure

Freshman year in college I had a friend who was a commuter and he lived in the city. He and his girlfriend said that they knew somebody that they wanted me to meet. So on Friday night they picked me up at my dorm and we drove to a restaurant where she was going to meet us. She was already there and she was nice looking. I thought maybe this would be a good thing. While were were talking I told her that I was in Air Force ROTC and wanted to be a pilot. She was sort of a hippie and she thought that I wanted to bomb women and children. Thing just went downhill from there.

My friend thought it would be funny if he and his girlfriend left the two of us there. So they left. It took a while before we realized what had happened. She told me that she was leaving. I asked her if she would give me a ride back to my dorm. It would have been a 6 mile walk in the freezing cold and I was just wearing a jacket.

So as she was driving away I jumped on the hood of her car and grabbed onto the hood. She tried to shake me off and drove through the parking lot a few times but I had a good grip on the hood. Finally she stopped and let me in the car. We had a quiet ride back to my dorm. When we got there I thanked her for the ride. I did not ask for a second date.

Best: A mutual acquaintance connected us and we were supposed to meet up with his sister and her guy but everyone bailed SUPER last minute -- he called and asked his sister to bail. I asked if he wanted to reschedule but he just smiled and said "No" ... it was a great night and my first date in a while. I was tricked into it, I guess.

Worst: A mutual acquaintance connected us and he oddly had the cab driver leave before our friend could also hop in. He had us stop at a little bistro... cute, right? WRONG. As soon as we sat down and ordered our coffee he proceeded to dig into me with critiques that seemed to be about someone else since we'd never met before and he didn't know anything about me other than I was divorced. He'd start every statement with "You know what's wrong with you?" and before I could say yes or no he'd start some derogatory monologue about women, divorcees, etc. etc. (How long does it take to pour a coffee? It certainly wasn't worth the effort of sitting there.) So finally after five minutes of this nonsense he asked again "You know what's wrong with you?" and I finally answered, "Yeah, I'm still sitting here." So I got up and left.

Not great, because every person i know who has tried, has 0 understanding of the women I'm interested in. Usually they try to set me up with their obese single friends who like anime... like bruh, i get repulsed at the fat i do have on my body, and I try my best to get rid of it; why would you think i would be into bigger women? I've even mentioned plenty times in my past, what kind of women I am into... 0 listening and 0 consideration. they just want to setup their single fat friends, who are struggling to find dates, with anyone they see any common interest, with no consideration of the other person. There are plenty of guys who are into thicc women, but I'm just not one of them. And before anyone says anything, i have my reasons for being grossed out by fat... mainy the side of my family who has always been over 300lbs, because they put sugar in everything, shovel tons of junk food into their mouths, and don't take care of themselves. Growing up seeing that made me digusted by fat and all of the gross habits that come with it.

but I've been to a double-date without knowing there was going to be a double-date lmao... it was an interesting, fun experience, funny too

but definitely not something I would ever do on my own accord, or least I don't think so, nor need it

worst: went to dinner she treated our waitress like she was a piece of garbage and acted she was a gift from god. I paid the bill went to the bathroom and ran away I didin't even say bye..

Best: Went to all day amusement park had fun all day.. Went to a small restaurant after and our conversation was flowing no awkward pauses. She ended up coming back to my place we had a few glasses of wine... and danced. We woke up on my couch cuddling. We were together for 3 years.

My best experience was meeting somebody that I really liked and who really liked me, and that I had a lot of sex with for a long, long period of time. My worst experience was meeting a woman that I couldn't stand, and apparently couldn't stand me. She left in the middle of the date, and I was relieved that she did that.
