One of the "less than impressive" ones I can remember was with a shy boy.

Shy boys, don't get mad at me, but you are just not my cup of tea tbh.

He wanted me to make all the conversation and entertain him the entire time.

Have you ever wanted to be anywhere else besides where you were at the time?

I was just praying that he wasn't going to try to kiss me!

Oh, but that's right, shy boys don't do that, well to contradict myself, which girls have the prerogative to do, maybe that's another reason I'm not into shy boys... lol

What about you, tell us about any experiences that you have had good, or bad... PLEASE!

Yeah, I was on a couple of blind dates. Mostly with girls I met online.. None of them worked out.
1. We had a really nice time talking online for a few weeks and it looked like we were gonna make something happen. We set up a date and I still had no idea what she looked like. She sent me a pic of herself the day before the date and it was SCARY LOOKING!!! She looked more like a guy than a girl and this huge grin she had on her face was almost like Mr. Sardonicus!!

But, nice guy that I am, I went out with her and, although it was a fairly nice time, it ended badly, she didn't seem interested and I wasn't and, even though we said we'd do it again I never heard from her ever again.
2. Another online date where I met up with this girl that wasn't bad, really, but she reminded me a lot of my cousin, Lisa. The "date" consisted of me meeting her a few miles from here at a house where she was dog-sitting a couple of Jack Russell terriers and the entire conversation was about the dogs. We went a few blocks away to a Wendy's and ate, then we went back to the house to play with the dogs some more and then I left and got home before the sun even went down! We never heard from each other again.
3. I'm not so sure this one was a blind date because I THINK I knew her before I asked her out but, she was a very nice and pretty girl but, she was EASILY freaked out and scared by horror movies! There was one on that night that I REALLY wanted to record, "House", and hadn't yet figured out how to set the timer on the VCR so, I wanted to be home in time to watch it. It was more of a comedy than a horror flick.
We went out to a local pub where a band was playing that we both wanted to see. Couldn't tell you who. After the show, we headed back to my place to watch, "House", which was on around midnight. we sat on the couch close to each other and shortly after it started, she got freaked and just couldn't take it anymore. She decided to leave so, as I was recording it and could watch it later, I walked her back to her car and never saw her again. As I was pretty big into sci-fi and monster movies, she was, obviously, not the right girl for me. Too bad, though. She did seem to like me and was a very sweet girl!

Yes. One of the best was half-blind.

A particular actress on tv caught my attention. I later saw her doing an interview where she was not acting, and she seemed like the kind of girl that would like the kind of guy I am.

It was not hard to figure out we had a common acquaintance (I was living in Los Angeles at the time). I asked if he would tell her about me and see if she would be interested in meeting me. He got the word back to me that she would. I don't think she ever saw a picture of me. So he told me where she would be for an event. I got a room at that hotel and attended the event. Our acquaintance was also there and he introduced her to me and then let us be. We went to a quiet corner and talked for about 45 minutes, then went to my room because people were starting to notice us together. We talked some more and ended up having sex. She was not able to stay the night, so when she left, I handed her a piece of paper with my number on it. The next morning, she contacted me saying how much she enjoyed our time together and wanted to know if she could see me again.

We ended up in an ongoing relationship until her fame was getting too much that the risk of being in the tabloids was getting to great. She has the reputation of being "the good girl", and she is. But paparazzi would be mean to her if they could sell scandals.

Fun question ! I've not set up any friends on blind dates but I've been on a 3 myself, just in the last few years.

The 1st one was an absolute disaster, was too soon after my divorce I think.

The 2nd two were actually a lot of fun though !

Blind dates suck period , not saying they can't work but most the time they dont cuz both people go in it with high expectations of each other then when they finally meet they dont meet their expectations, cuz we are already building up in our heads what that person is going to look like , what their personality is etc.. 2 of them were a waste of time cuz the Girls were not my type whatso ever and I wanted to choke my friend that set me up on them , then he set me up a 3rd time , I told hin this is it and shockingly it was a Good one the girl was attractive and her and I hit it off fast we were really into each other ended up having sex eith her the second date lol then my buddies girlfriend that was her friend ruined it , and said some shit to her and then she told me she couldnt see me anymore cuz of her friend? I was like wtf? So i called my buddies girlfriend and said wtf did you say to her? Why did you tell her to not see me anymore? She said she was jealous that she wants me and has the hots for me. I was like ummmm aren't you dating my friend? She said No she just likes him as a friend , I said well their is no way in hell i am dating you , you aren't my type and I am not doing that to my friend , i said you're a bitch for ruining the whole thing. And hung up on her. I Called my Buddy and told him everything that happened , he was very hurt and pissed off , the whole thing turned tp drama. He Called her yelling at her and then that bitch lied to him saying that she had sex with me , Nn friend Called me back app pissed off at me and I was like dude are u fucking serious? You know damn well i would never do that to you , I then Called her back and ripped her a New asshole and made her tell my friend that she was lying, she did and Apologized and that was the last i ever talked to those Girls and my last time ever going on a Blind Date

I been on a blind date. It was slow at first. Then, we started to have conversation and then it went great. While eating it started to rain. I paid the bill went to the car. She thought I left. ( I drive, she Uber.) I pull up, took out my umbrella. Told her I paid the bill. Can I walk her to her car. She said she was drop off. I offer to take her home. She already call Uber. I stayed with her under the umbrella til her ride arrive. Never heard from her again. That was 4 years ago.

I've been on one blind date. It turned out well. She was nice, fun, looked a lot like a 20-something Olivia Hussey. Unfortunately she was going to school in Europe so it really could not go very far.
