Is that considered mentally challenged? Why would it be hard to be in a relationship with them? And would it be a power imbalance if someone with a normal IQ dates them?

Pretty close. I'd say it depends on how tolerant of slow people. Like for example I would NEVER knowingly date a person who claims to be Autistic. Emotional intelligence is pretty important in a relationship. But as I say, some people are much more tolerant than others. Some people can look past a lot when a person has a really good heart.

Because autistic people (assuming she actually is autistic and not just a self involved narcissist) are oblivious to other people's feelings. They don't have that component in them. That's a death nail for a relationship.

Because whether they realize what they're doing or rather not doing or not, they're still behaving this way. It's not personal. I'm not not willing to date them because it is or isn't intentionally. I'm not willing to date them because they're behaving this way. Understand?
