Would you go on a date with a woman who won't give you her normal phone # or last name before meeting?

We have video called. I know she is who she says she is, but I feel weird taking someone on a date who could very easily make it so I could never contact her again if she decides she doesn't like me. Says she usually waits two dates. I guess if it goes well I'll ask her after the first. To me though this is also a no-go for any potential kiss, because if you won't give me your real #/last name, kissing is more personal...

Sure. I rarely ever give out my real phone number, even if i have known them for a while unless it's an emergency or business related so no big problems there for me.

Guys can also be a danger in the beginning until we get comfortable with them. A good guy won't pressure anything whether it be a last name or a kiss until she is ready.

If all you are doing is trying to get intimacy out of her then she is probably in the right to be cautious of you.

I think she's being cautious but it's fine. She probably had past issues dealing people she didn't like.

I don't know, I've never asked a woman for either. It's never occurred to me to do a background check on a woman I was looking to date. Is this what dating is now?😮😆
