No. There are a lots of crazy people out there. I would be hesitant myself. You may argue that is your concern as well a but they could also give you a burner number so there isn't any value for you either.

Her not giving you her number is reasonable, and smart. It's the safe thing to do. You apparently met online and it's only prudent to exercise caution. I would respect a woman who exercised caution because it's the smart thing to do.

She is under no obligation to do anything. Smart women never give out phone numbers. These days, there are a million ways to contact someone without giving out private information.

I have a burner number for situations like that. If someone starts to hassle me, I can shut it off and still have access to my main number. I've never had to turn it off.
