I've had a pretty strong batting average. But I have only ever been interested in people I feel I know enough beforehand. I've never pursued a relationship for the sake of having a relationship, but rather decided I have found someone I want to invest more energy in getting closer to. When quality people meet on that basis, the outcome is normally positive, whatever the precise nature of it turns out to be.
