There’s this guy that I know was previously into me and now I like him. We’re not super close but we talk a decent amount and a majority of the time it gets flirty. Most recently he went out on a date and we were talking about when he should text her. I know I should bring it up with him and I plan to I’m just trying to figure out how to since I prefer to not do it over text but we don’t go out a ton alone. Have I been friendzoned or is there still the possibility of more?

you are currently it seems in a friend zone. but friend zones are not necessarily permanent.

that said being in the friend zone you need to get out of it soon if you want any chance. the longer you stay just a friend the more you risk that he loses feelings and completely moves on from a romantic inclination towards you.

Totally, was friend zoned by lots of girls back in my school days. Often being taken to discos and things just to look after there bags and coats while they had great time with older guys. I didn’t mind really and to be fair most are really good friends to this day. So it’s not always bad to be friend zoned
