Some reactions come from racial baggage, perceived dating competition, or ideas about “loyalty” to one’s group.

But most people don’t actually care , social media just amplifies the loudest voices.

The loudest voices online often don’t represent the majority, that part I agree with.

But I think the bigger issue is how social media amplifies extreme reactions, which can make things look more hostile or divided than they actually are in real life.
