How come hispanics always date within their race?

Im white and that's almost all we have in my area are hispanics and most of them dont even like white guys. They stay in their own little click for the most part.

I used to work at a bar that would have these dj's once a month. The cholas and cholos would come up from the hood to dance to the oldies. The was a dude there on one of these nights who was complaining to me. He said "it's kind of hood in here tonight. None of these cholas will even look at me because I don't look like a gangster. What the fuck? I'm Mexican too." I laughed and said "you're dressed like an average Joe, you're not ghettofabulous enough for them" Here Mexicans are very clique-ish. The Mexicans who were born and raised in the hoods of Southern California generally don't mingle or hang out with the ones born and raised in Mexico, and vise-versa. The American born Mexicans who grew up in the suburbs here are different, they are kind of like the outliers who will date or hang out with all 3 types of Mexicans and white people too haha
