Am I being unreasonable: wouldn't even kiss a guy who eats at McDonalds?

I find the idea of eating at McDonalds very revolting. I am usually the live and let live type but my man would have to wait a day for a kiss after eating from there.

Is this unreasonable?

That is asinine. Now we're dictating where people are allowed to eat? All traces of the food will be gone in half an hour, and you're making him wait a whole day? McDonald's ingredients are very basic, beef, bread, cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup, potatoes, and are found in many other foods and other restaurants in exactly the same form. That guy should dump you, pronto.

People who frequently eat there are desensitized to how nasty the food there really is. I used to eat there before.

Do you feel this way only about McDonald's or do you feel this way about all fast-food places? If it's only McDonald's, why is this? Like all fast-food franchises, McDonald's franchisees are required to meet certain standards of cleanliness, standards of sanitary food handling, and the like. Just what is it about McDonald's that so turns you off?

I feel this way about most fast food places. If it has that nasty pungent smell, it turns me off from going near that mouth. I can't explain why burger king macdonalds and these kinda places smell so bad. If I smell it on someone's breath I want to puke. Other places don't have that effect.

MacDonalds taste and smell makes me sick. My taste do not. I also wouldn't accpet cunnilingus unless I have recently cleaned up.

I won’t date them because our health outlook is different. I am all about natural eating so… we won’t get along.
hubby and I have the same outlook with health, wealth, medical, educational etc… aligned.

I find McDonald's disgusting too but that's all pretty extreme. If he ate it secretly when you weren't around you wouldn't know. What if he ate Burger King instead? Would that have been ok?

Actually, there are people who are particularly sensitive to certain smells and fragrances. I have a son-in-law who is allergic to several kinds of fish. He can't even stand to be near the kitchen if fish is cooking! So the asker may be one of these people.

Well, I am not fond of ANY fast-food restaurants. I would think about waiting a fortnight, before kissing the guy after McDonalds, - maybe longer

You aren't wrong for what you find revolting, but be prepared for most partners to find a day-long kissing probation over a Happy Meal a bit extreme.
