Is it normal for a guy friend to ask for a kiss on the cheek?

There is this guy from my work place who i hang out with sometimes. We recently watchef a movie together and he was acting a bit different. For example, he asked if he can touch my hair and then asked if i can give him a kiss on the cheek.
Before all of that he was saying that he felt something in his hands and wanted me to take a look (it was obvious that he wanted me to touch his hands)

why is he doing all of this? I think i may be over exaggerating

This cheek kiss can just be a cultural thing, but the rest of this story makes it clear that he likes you. I wouldn't do this stuff to anyone but my wife.
