This is so stupid it doesn't deserve an answer, but apparently you need help. If you're sick with the flu, you don't go on a date and you don't go out in public either, you idiot.

All types of flu are contagious, and for many they are most contagious during the first 3 days. Going out with her when you're sick would be disgracefully stupid, rude, nasty, and whatever other degrading adjectives one could add.

Geez. You call her on the phone - NO texting. You tell her you're sick, you just came down with the flu, and you're contagious. You convincingly tell her you feel horrible about postponing the date, but you absolutely, positively, 100% want to schedule another one. And say please... don't beg, as in "I really want to get to know you so can we please another time in a week or so when I'm fully recovered. I don't want to risk getting you sick".

If you're real, she'll know it. If you're bullshit, she'll know it. If she can't tell, then it doesn't matter what she says. LOL
