Did my drunk boyfriend accidentally reveal he’s in love with me?

So a few weeks ago, my boyfriend got really drunk and he started freestyling, like rapping, and in one of his verses he mentioned me and said “and I love her”. He stopped himself and walked away saying “FUCK” and came back saying to forget what he just said. Did he only say that because he was drunk, or is he secretly in love and didn’t tell me and said it because his guard was down and intoxicated? I had a feeling beforehand that he loved me, because he would say things like “I’m developing very strong feelings for you”. and he said he didn’t want to say I love you until he meant it and knew that I felt the same way. We’ve been dating for about 3 months, which is why I’m asking because it’s still veryyy early. I don’t want to ask him because I want him to tell me on his own.

After a time in my experience men make a decision that we are either in, out, or just along for the ride and to us there is a right time to say I love you and it is when we are for sure without a doubt in. Alcohol reduces the barrier between want and should and can cause an effect where not everything passes through the normal filters altering the outcome. I would say though your well on your way to being "in" and suggest to just leave it and carry on carrying on and let be what will be.

I don't know what’s weirder, the fact that you’re with someone who’s so emotionally avoidant that he can’t even say he loves you, the fact you’re just cool with that or the fact that you don’t even wanna have a conversation with him about this stuff.

Did you read the paragraph I wrote? I said that we’ve had a conversation about how he feels like he might be starting to fall for me but wouldn't wanna say it until he knows I feel the same way which is why I assume he hasn’t said it. It’s still so early which is why I’m asking for feedback.

Yes, I read that part of the paragraph and it still does not explain why you’re here asking what you claim to have already asked about. If it were already sorted then why are you here? Why wouldn’t him previously stating that he won’t say it until he knows you feel the same way suffice? To each their own but I don’t think 3 months of being with your boyfriend, after already having dated him, is “so early”. You already knew you liked each other a lot, otherwise you wouldn’t have officiated things so why would it be too soon to state that you love each other? You aren’t asking for his hand in marriage or asking to move in.
