I work at my university bar, and there's a guy (let's call him
John) there whoI have had a fling with, but we are friends now.
On Tuesday me and some friends were drinking at the bar when John was working, before going to a club to celebrate finishing our exams; we all ended up quite drunk and I cannot remember much of the night.
I was asking my friends what happened the next morning, and apparently I was stood talking to John before we left for the club, and I sent him a message apologising for how drunk I was, and he replied saying "It's OK, you were really funny!".
On Wednesday I messaged a few people asking if I could swap shifts, and John replied saying he could swap and at the end of the message he put "you really were on form on Tuesday, it made my shift :)". So I replied asking what shifts he had and also why I had made his shift, and he replied only telling me what shifts he had.
Now yesterday my friend told me that she came and got me from the bar to get me into the taxi taking us to the club, and she seems to think I was saying something along the lines of "I love you!" to John which I do not remember. Obviously, I am slightly embarrassed but I am confused as to why he brought Tuesday up, but never told me what happened! Any ideas?
