Is it creepy to text an old coworker to ask him out a year later?

There was a guy I worked with about a year ago, he was only there for a couple months. I had a big crush on him, which is really rare for me. We worked in different departments so we didn’t talk a whole lot but he’d always strike up a conversation with me in passing. I wanted to ask him out back then, but he just kinda vanished one day. Which is typical for my industry. Everyones phone numbers were available on the employee app. I considered texting him, but never did. Plus my love life was a bit complicated up until recently, so it felt kind of wrong. Would I seem crazy if I were to hit him up now?

Yes in a way it is. First of all he didn’t give you his number himself so yes to me if someone texted me out of the blue it would be a little weird. Especially if you’re ugly. I hate to say it that way, but you’re cute most men are going to be ok w it. But you’re not it’s going to be odd, weird, not normal. Plus if you two never really talked yes it would be awkward.
