Is it weird if I reach out to a guy I chatted too 2 months ago (sort of ghosted)?

I chatted this this guy 2 months ago for 2 weeks, my schedule was really busy so i couldnt really date him. I didn't really ghost him i just wasn't as interested at the time because i was busy with a new job and moving places, also i didn't have the time to date. Then we drifted apart. I was the last message where I could have responded but just left it. So we didn't end on bad terms. I'm sort of in a place now where I have time, and I did have a connection with them, again just no time to take the whole thing seriously.

Is it weird if I reach out again?

Ask yourself if a guy you might have been interested in you straight up ghosted you and months went by and they decide to get back in contact with you, would you be okay with him contacting you after ghosting you. I say leave the guy alone. You could have a least told him you weren't ready to date or be in a relationship instead of ghosting him.

But I guess I didn't have time to take him seriously. And I didn't want to be rude and say I wasn't interested. I own 2 businesses and had to put my energy into that.

You say you didn't want to be rude, well guess what, you were rude to him the very moment you ghosted him. That probably hurt more for him than it would have you being honest with him
