Then go out and get it by yourself. You don’t need him to give all those feelings.

If he doesn't want to talk at some point, then there are serious emotional issues. without him working on himself, you working on self, and talking, there is nothing to mis. So that requires talking to someone else about what is really going on, so you do better next time
