I was speaking with a friend from another country and he was telling me about the dating culture in his particular country and how many woman are far more interested in lying to you for money especially if your a foreigner instead of looking for real love unless your white.
And seeing how dating has affected us in the U. S I look at movements like passport bros and see how misguided they are because a lot of issue we face here have spread to other countries because of social media.
Now to be fair I think you can still find nice girls anywhere regards of the country but I do think woman of other countries are more looking for traditional types of relationship and are just more open and willing to play those roles as opposed to American woman. Just from the one I’ve dealt with that even in the US but are not originally from there and eve ones I’ve spoken to online who are outside the country.
But dating seems like it’s overall had a negative impact on everyone everywhere thanks to social media and the worst part is I don’t think we are every gonna go back to how it was before social media we are kinda just stuck with it being shitty and frankly heading in a more negative direction because of it.
I honestly think banning dating apps would be a a wise choice despite it limiting options severely but more harm then good has come out them. Or maybe if not banned heavily regulated or regulated to an extent. But even then I think the main issue is just basic visual media apps force feeding us the same really shitty talking points about how each generates is fucking horrible to be with.
And worse thing is people internalize it even if they don’t know it. I really feel like certain things need to start being regulated when it comes to social media but then that opens to the door for over regulation. I don’t know but it is a really shitty situation.
