Is it really that difficult for a 20 something girl to find a good guy to date?

I read all kind of things about dating nightmares in GAG, and wonder if our society is really that tough to find decent guys in the age range of 20 - 29. When I was in my 20's dating or finding a cute, nice, girl to date was not really difficult. Lots of shitty guys around, that girls did not want, but I did not find it a real problem to find good people. Tell me that I'm wrong?

Socially society has changed, you're correct. But men and women still largely want the same things they always have. The only difference is the ILLUSION of choice.

Women at one time did not have the equality they now enjoy ("enjoy" is misleading, I'll explain in a minute). Now with equality women have the OPTION of fully pursuing whatever the fancy in life. The problem is women have always had a FALSE understanding of what it means to be a man. Women assume that men have had complete freedom for the past 2000 years. The REALITY is most men are relegated by many constraints in life they're upbringing, social status, education, income etc. Even if they overcome half these they'll still likely always be constrained by the other half of them. And the point is, most guys live a life as a cog in the wheel. Not everyone can be a chief. There always has to be Indians.

So back to what I saylid earlier when I said "enjoy". Because it's misleading. Women may now enjoy equality. But women are now starting to learn what men have known for the past 2000 years (or rather not learn, because they're not learning. They're fighting REALITY every step of the way😆). That equality is just opportunity. It doesn't guarantee you anything. Women think they should be able have it all now. A career, a family, Chris Hemsworth for a husband (who adores her). life just don't work that way is all.

women will eventually figure this out. Hopefully it doesn't take too many generations. But she will continue to be angry until she does. Because a man cannot learn this for her. We've known this for some time. And as long as many of these women continue to view us as their combatant. Because if we tell them we're "mansplaining" now.🤦‍♂️😆 All we can do is step back and wait.

I've never had problems dating when I was in my twenties. Since I got married, the whole dating thing is over for me.

But I do have a history of falling for the wrong girl, the one that gives you nothing but headaches, heartaches and sleepless nights.

back then in your generation, men were actually raised properly and know how to court a woman. Nowadays, young men just want to have sex without commitment. Dating apps make people believe that dates are disposable and you can always find someone better around the corner.

I have to confess to you at this point, that I, in my 20's was probably pursuing sex from girls as much as any guy at the time, but perhaps the way we pursued was much different than the young guys now. I think sex drive is sex drive, but how men pursue it is not different with more expectations.

nah... when I listened to songs from the 1990s, it was all about romance, class and courtship. Now, its all about getting over an ex or perverts playing girls.

Back then in the early 2000s, most men were married with kids by 35, nowadays, young people aren't getting married at all and aren't having kids. Marriage rates are at the lowest its ever been. Same for birth rates

no, the sex is worse and cheaper now. Because more and more girls are having causal sex than ever before.

Back then, most people were married or dating which is why men didn't have to go out to hunt for sex. Nowadays, most people are single which is why people have to hunt for sex.

Good men and women are hard to find. However, it seems to me that it only gets harder to older you get since that pool of people shrinks as people get married.
