What dating mistakes held you back before you became more successful?

I was setback early on because nobody explained to me most young women will not let you know they have interest in you. So by the time I figured that out I was already behind. To make matters worse I didn't understand that there was a segment of women that do nothing but try to build their egos at men's expense. Especially non aggressive men like I was. So those women would "flirt" with me. And later harrass me. Finally I met a woman that pulled a long con on me. She befriended me I would later learn she was very manipulative. But not till she stole my heart. That was the turning point for me. She broke me. But I rose from that UNBREAKABLE. No woman has ever gotten over on me since. And I sniff out a woman's b. s. like a bloodhound. I can be whatever a woman wants me to be now because I've gotten very good at reducing what they want over the years. I don't want to suggest all women are alike because they most certainly are not. But they do all have much the same tendencies. After you know that it's just a matter of fine tuning it to each woman. But I'm good because while I can show love, and show love deeply. There's a part of me (my heart) that (unbeknownst) to her will NEVER be hers. I've said before it's kind of unfortunate because I will never purely again. But I think every guy needs to be broken like that so they can become undefeatable like this.
