Texted a former coworker after I left job that I missed her cause she CLEARLY was into me giving me flirts and touches but at the same time acted like she wasn't.. anyway she ended up rejecting me and told her friends and family "he likes me" while smiling and giggling.. how should I take this? Do girls do that to guys they no longer "like" or the opposite, guys they do "secretly like"? How should I take this? Like should i feel flattered that she's telling her people about me or disrespected? girls are so damn weird and confusing any insight would be appreciated!

She's just flirting to get attention and told her friends because it makes her feel socially more valuable to be wanted. Sounds immature from both sides. It has nothing to do with you.
I could say it harsh or soft but in the end, you need to drop this, digest it and move on.
If it helps, use the pain to become the amazing guy she'll regret having rejected. But do it for yourself.

Good in the fact that she showed you her true colors. Bad in the sense that you don't realize it.

You were an ego boost for her, nothing more. But do not take that hard. That is not YOUR failing that is HER's. Do not give this woman a second thought and move on. If she comes back to you, drop her FLAT.
