What is one piece of dating advice you’d give your younger self?

To just do everything this one specific guy said. He wanted to “everything” as soon as we met, offered for me to sleep over, etc. And i said no to it all cuz i had “morals” and had never done anything before and was waiting to do those things with a boyfriend first. Over time we kept talkign but he immediately wrote me off a long time ago and decided i wasn't girlfriend material. No matter what i say or do now he just isn't into me anymore. I thought i was doing the right thing by not sleeping with a guy i barley knew despite really liking him 🤷‍♀️ I regret not just going alone with what he wanted.

@Levin but why isn't he interested anymore? He would ask to hang out and to spend time together and would do little things for me when we first met but after i got comfortable with him and decided i was ready to take him up on everything, he revoked everything. its not just that, he's been really mean for the last 2 years now. He only uses me for sex, and then i have to leave his house immediately. I can't hang out with him before or after sex. And i can't (not allowed to) sleep over, can't give him gifts, can't go out with him….

And some other guy that asked me out before from work, i said no to the date only because it was so last minute and i said we should try another time but he never wanted to again after that. I find that guys just want what they want immediately and if they dont get it, they move on. It makes no sense. They never give me time to get comfortable with them.

I'd tell myself to pay attention to effort and consistency, not just words. Take my time getting to know someone
