In college I asked out a girl in my class, she got turned on right away when I said "you play for coach X". She was on the softball team and liked I knew everything and went to games regularly. She got clingy if I wasn't practically at every other game, like a disappointment. I even drove many hours to her away games. I think it was because her fam or previous boys never came to see her as much as I did. Aside from that good dates and sex. We didn't break up because of cling, but that one sticks out more than anything because how much we liked each other.

I did date a girl that always needed me by her side. I'm not sure if she was clingy or just had social anxiety. For, example, she couldn't go grocery shopping on her own and the first time she did, she was so proud of herself.

Because I would like the type of relationship where we do everything together 24/7 outside of work, I would probably be the one to get called clingy, if someone who wasn't like that too chose to interpret it that way.

Yes and, so far, I don't mind it at all! I'm a bit clingy, too. As long as she's not trying to hug or kiss me while I'm playing drums or in the middle of taking a shot at pool. Between songs and shots, perfectly fine!!

I've been described as clingy, once. When I find someone I want to be with then I want to be with them. It's not the same thing. I walk when walking is appropriate.
