He wasn't pushy just extremely clingy! Like he gave up all his friends, just to be with me constant! practically moved in with me during school holidays, and he never had an individual opinion on anything! He always ALWAYS thought I was right about everything! He was very sweet but he drove me nuts! He basically can't function without a girlfriend. I moved about 2 years ago to Italy and he's in Australia after long distance didn't work he told me he loved me right up until the moment he met his new girlfriend. I was already in a relationship and he knew that but I think it actually bothered him deep down bc even though we didn't have a fight he blocked me on every social media😂 Talk about crazy

i was the clingy one in the relationship. It was all about having different wants and needs. His wants and needs were less clingy than mine. I ended up breaking up with him because it's not that i need constant attention but to keep a relationship going i had low expectations like call me on the phone at least twice a week and he couldn't meet that. Which over time made me unhappy.

No, but I've been pursued by clingy/pushy guys and, because I know myself and that I'm the sort of person that needs space and craves alone time, I had to shut it down (several times, when I say clingy, I mean it) very quickly. I felt smothered and it scared me so I knew it wasn't worth it to give him a chance. I want to be able to miss you a little bit, you know?

I had a guy that would call me if I didn't answer a text within exactly 5mins. He always had to know what I was up to and who I was with. So I broke up with him. There is nothing worse then someone who will not give you your space. especially when you talk to them about it and ask them to lay off... I think the worst excuse I got from him was "I am just protective of what's mine"... that was end game for me because even if we are dating I do not belong to anyone but myself!

Had to break up with them. I hate someone who is too clingy, it turns me off right away. On some occasions I do like to have time alone, and he should respect that. likewise, if I want to do something like have a girls' night then I should be entitled. if he is too clingy and won't let me have my independence then this turns me off right away. i need a guy who is secure and will allow me to have some independence, same as what I would give him if wanted time alone or a guys' night.
