I think I'm a visionary when it comes to this lol. I think there will be AI screening tests in the future. Our personal AI assistants will get to know each of us individually to the extent that they know us inside out. Then when you want to date someone, you'll just apply through their AI assistant and it will be like an interview. They'll assess your personality, your appearance, your career, goals, interests, views, sense of humor... even sexual preferences... everything. Then they'll decide if you're a match for their user. And believe it or not, I think that's better than the current dating scene.

Depends on how you define the question, if its a "First we courted a little bit, then we dated proper" kind of progression then obviously a relationship and or sex is next.

But if you mean "First people did proper courtship to get a partner, that changed into the dating we have today, what is it like in the future?" then the answer is probably AI matchmaking. The AI analyses who you are and what you'd like, auto matches you with the most suitable partner, simulates how you two would spend time together to confirm its a match and then if all that passes it plans the date for you.
