Is it normal to completely forget a past date or meetup like this?

I just matched with a woman on Hinge. I saw some texts where I met her from eHarmony. We took a walk 21 months ago, and think there was mutual disinterest, although supposedly we were going to be friends, yeah, never happened. I have not thought about it since and completely forgot.. can't even remember her in person.

I presume it is possible because, let's be honest, those hookup sites (not really dating sites) are primarily there for those people that are only interested in getting into the pants of those people that are interested.

Now, with the hundreds or thousands of matches, it is very difficult to forget the one or the other. It is not a secret that some users are actually only on those hookup sites to simply increase their list of body counts and forgeting some bodies is something that does most likely happen more often than one would think with those on those hookup sites.

what’s weird though is that I wouldn’t say it was traumatic because I was not particularly interested, but I can’t even remember specifically even though it was only 21 months ago. And we met in person and took a walk so yeah. It’s not like I’m going on a date every single day… I think maybe I thought she was a little weird.
