Why is he cursing me out for days and blaming me for his breakup?

So I knew this guy that always liked me and I got personal problems so I blocked him without explanations… he wasn’t the nicest but that’s not the issue…. now that my mind is clear i decided to reach out just to see opening my insta again and he was getting drunker and drunker sending voice messages cursing me out and saying „I didn’t even wanted you“ and later calling from another persons number at 2 am on WhatsApp saying that he hates me and his girlfriend that he wanted since „years“ apparently is the love of his life. and now today again I’m the reason they broke up? And I am getting called names what is that now? Like I didn’t even say anything bad I said I wanted apologize

Even though you don't think it is important or not relevant to the story, you blocking him without explanations was probably the catalyst for his behavior. How would you feel if someone you like blocks you and gives no details for the action?

I can imagine that he looked for a substitute and found one. Being intoxicated helps saying things that have been kept secret. He is probably a little instable and is looking to put the blame for his relationship failure and you are the best person he could come up with since his troubles probably started the day you blocked him without apparent reason.

I didn’t even hate him I just had to explain why I was gone for a couple months. you don’t even know excuse you are you serious now

Most men hate to take the blame for anything, even a break-up. You can read clear evidence of this annoyance every day on here. It is really a mental illness many males have.
