Of course it is possible. What does dating have to do with having or not having friends of the opposite gender?

It is not because you are dating someone that you have suddenly to drop all your friends of the opposite gender. Having those friends does also not mean that you are going to fornicate with them. There is something called platonic friendship and that is what 100% of the friends of the opposite actually are, or at least that is what they should be in any normal friendship.

If they are not, then you are not ready to date and you should avoid dating altogether.

It comes down to respect! And your partner ALWAYS comes first when you're in a relationship. If you're not down with that you're either 1. Not ready for a relationship. Or 2. With the wrong partner. You need to be with someone who is a lot more relaxed.

It’s not a good idea. I know how guys are. They act like they are the girls best friend but the moment something goes wrong. The girl wants to lean on the guy and the guys right there for the killing for the taking. He will sweet talk her start dating her himself. I heard a lot of stories
