In a way, yes, but it has to be realistic. Don’t expect an ox to fly or a bird to haul a cart, you know?
Not so much potential, rather the image of them produced by my feverish imagination.
I have in the past. Years waiting for them to change to the person they promised they wanted to be. Decided to walk away because I was fed up pulling 99% of our relationship.
