I have been talking to this guy and he left my message on delivered for 18 hours I understand he can be busy but he saw the reel I sent afterwards and liked it without replying to my actual message Now I’m wondering if I should text him again or just leave it and wait for him to text me first what would you do?

Why do you want him to reply? I see that you placed your question under the "Dating" topic, thus I presume that you are primarily interested in getting intimate with him rather than to get a new follower.

Dating, by definition means:

"a stage of romantic relationships in humans whereby two people meet socially with the aim of each assessing the other's suitability as a prospective partner in an intimate relationship".

Therefore, if you are indeed interested in an intimate relationship, then you could send him a reminder otherwise, just forget it. He does not seem to be interested in the same thing as you do.

He isn’t blind or crazy, he sees your message and left it sitting there. The reason would be why, which there could be a number of reasons for. Boredom, repetitive topics, tired of texting, etc. I’d ask him about this, but only when he finally got around to texting though, I wouldn’t reach out. Since you’ve already tried it would just make you look desperate.

I wouldn't double text. You already shot your shot, he saw it, he liked the reel so he knows you're there. If he wanted to reply to your actual message, he would've. Give him space to miss you a little. If you're always the one reaching out, it stops being mutual and starts feeling like you're chasing. Let him show you he's interested too.
