On dating apps, is it really all about looks and top-tier men only?

On all the dating apps like hinge, bumble, tinder all the data shows that a tiny fraction of men recieve all the likes/attention/matches.

So for most men looking for something serious it’s not really possible. All the serious women want the same tiny group of physically attractive men. They all get ignored by those guys and now ‘all men are bad.’

Why don’t most men get a chance in the app? Women are happy to let good men go. Women aren’t good.

Yes and no. I wish all men understood that 85% of women have no interest on dating ANY man (at least not beyond that rare unicorn that they will NEVER find on a dating app). And this is NOT an exaggeration. 15 to 20 are bots and catfish. About 65 to 70 are looking for those top tier guys. That leaves a guy with about 15% of women as viable dates. And men will probably be interested in about half of of them. That leaves men with about 8 in 100. And to make things worse, only 10% of those women will be interested in those men

So the TRUE chances are about 1 to 2 women in every 100 you see online. This is NOT meant to discourage you. But now that you know the real odds you can plan accordingly. 1. Never treat online dating as anything beyond free entertainment until you have a very good reason to. 2. NEVER message ANY woman first. Unless you just like being jerked around.😆 3. take anything you're told by a woman on a dating app with a grain of salt. And chase any woman you might meet off there with a shot of penicillin. It's a well known FACT that the majority of women on dating apps are RIFE with STD's. Be safe my man!👍💯

It's a mixed bag. It really depends on your area (usually 50 mile radius is standard difference change). For example, in my area they want blue collar men, wannabe cowboys & rappers, thin framed guys, and/or toxic & arrogant guys, while being obease, mostly toxic with unresolved baggage, overly self-entitled, demanding queen treatment, wanting hookups into relationships, 0 straight forward communication, and/or having multiple kids... the dating pool is heavily filled with sewage here.
But, i have better luck matching with those outside that range with pleasent conversations.

I'm guessing it's more about socio-economic status. ie women probably find the same men attractive who have thousands of followers on instagram. They're attracted to confidence. This is why you often say a 9 girl with a total troll or average guy.

But in any case, don't use dating apps because they're skewed against you and have really become quite pathetic.
