How much should we text before our first date next week?

Got a date set yesterday for next week bc of our busy schedules. Didn’t text her today, but I also don’t want to go completely radio silent for 7 days.
Is it fine to text her maybe like 2 times before the date? I just dont wanna talk about everything before the date.

in my opinion, once daily is ok -- the GM. Don't be too clingy if you don't know each other.

The day before text "Confirming for tomorrow. 8pm @ {location)" or "Confirming for tomorrow. Pick you up at 7?" and let her reply so you have an excuse for the extra chat.

I've always texted periodically before the first date. Keeping the communication open so as to show interest.
