Is my coworker being just work cordial or low-key jealous?

one of my co worker who I use to mess around with (yeah I know please don’t judge) stopped me in the hallway today to ask me how me and my guy friend are doing (the guy friend he knows i am currently seeing) and then when i questioned why he stopped me randomly to ask that considering he wants to be only “work cordial” he said “am i not allowed to start a conversation?”
mind you he keeps bringing up this guy friend in weird ways to me like saying things “oh you’re guy friend would go crazy over something like that” like randomly brings him up in conversations when we were talking about something COMPLETELY different i told him a few days ago he brought flowers to my house and bought me a new purse and he goes “sounds like he matches your energy” and when i denied it he goes “ehhhh yeah i think so”

Dude doesn't want to commit but he doesn't want another man to have you. Major red flag. Distance yourself from this guy. As much as possible.
