Would you be turned off by someone based on the type of people they're attracted to or dated?

Question

For example someone you are /were interested in.. in an early talking stage or someone you found attractive from a distance then seen their type, those they've dated or follow on social media and thought " ew , ugh nevermind not interested." Or " oh wow, their type is completely opposite of me, so I won't waste my time here.

Of course. If there’s a man that I find attractive and later find out he’s attracted to men and women or even trans, I lose interest in an instant! All attraction is gone and I now just see them as gay and cannot unsee it.

if there’s a man I find attractive and he finds girls who are exaggeratedly fake, I also lose interest.

many woman today are fake but you can’t always tell, it’s deceiving and that’s fine.. I’m not talking about those

but the ones that are clearly fake no need to ask or question, if a man finds those primarily attractive, I will lose interest 100% if I had any to begin with.

If someone I met likes the opposite of what I like, I'd be turned off.  If some people support what I truly detest, I won't bother spending any time with them.

Awesome question. Yes this has happened to me. I've been into chicks before that were my type, or seemed like my type, and then I found out the kinds of guys they liked were either really streetsy or they had a bunch of bad exes. I usually start switching to just being friendly with them at that point lol.

Yes , I have done that a few times with girls’ , when I realized who their exes were , , it was mainly guys’ that I knew that she didn’t know I knew , and I was turned off by her being with them , because I knew those guys’ have been around the block a bunch of times

There's just about no case that I would be turned off by someone's type.

Unless she worshipped Ted Bundy, The Una Bomber, or some criminal like that, I don't care.

And if she agreed to date me, I take her word for it. The fact guys she liked aren't like me, won't make me insecure.

But if I didn't yet even ask her out (and somehow miraculously know her type).. Well, I don't call it a turn off - I would simply doubt my chances.

But then I’d snap out of it and accept that it’s likely for the best.

No because sometimes friends fall into your lap they’re introduced to you by my other friends. I can’t control what they do in their private life, but I know if their drinkers or drug users or if they have a Rap sheet and they don’t and they mean well so why not keep them around? Why get rid of them and be real picky but I usually run the show pretty much

Yes, if there's a ubiquity of men. Too many is a turn off. Talking about recent sex life infers that she sleeps around, too. Turn off.

And if they date knobheads. So many women date knobheads. Instant turn off.

I wouldn't make assumptions or pass judgment on him for his past dating history. We grow as people and what we want sometimes changes, so I wouldn't be hung up on it

I can imagine being turned off if most of their exes were super toxic/fake etc. But I’d still get to know them fully before making any assumptions about them.

yes. If a guy is only interested in dating significantly younger women, then I wouldn't be interested. Also if a guy has a pattern of calling all of his exes crazy. Or if he has ever dated a very immature woman... these are all red flags.
