Why does real-life dating work for some people but not for others?

A lot of people claim that meeting someone in real life is better than online dating. But some people go out, try to meet others, and still never find anyone to date. Why does real‑life dating work for some people but not for others?

I was wondering the same thing for myself. why didn't I get any attention from guys? why don't guys ever flirt? Once I started wearing wedges with nice dresses that showed off my legs, things changed. I also started flirting which really helped. Sometimes if guys won't' make the first move, you make the first move. Also, practice taking rejection. Rejection happens to everyone and it will hurt. But the more you experience the pain, it will start to hurt less. Deal with people on your own level. If you are constantly chasing people who are out of your league, you will never end up with anything but a damaged self esteem

Not everything works for everyone. You keep trying other options and see which one works for you

Why do some people fail at in person social interaction?

• Personality
• Fitness
• Style
• Sense of humor... can you insult someone with a smile to flirt with them?
• Personal grooming
• Tolerance for risk... are you willing to take that walk across the room and say hi?
• Ability to accept rejection with a smile.
• Being interesting... what have you ever done or created? Sports, career, education
• Can you carry a conversation?
• Can you go deeper in a conversation than" where ya from" or "what do you do for a living". Maybe, "what do people always miss about you, what do they not see?"
• Are you calm and comfortable or anxious and clumsy.

That "others" group is tiny tbh. most people aren't even relying on dating apps, they just date people from school or their job. if someone isn't dating it's either by choice, being too lazy to bother, or just not having a social circle. if you actually have an active circle it's ridiculously easy to meet people.

The same reason some people are born in the western hemisphere and others born in the Eastern one. The cards aren’t stacked evenly or however the saying goes lol I guess what i’m trying to say is that some people are simply born with more of the qualities that make real life dating easier and work for them and others are not born with as many of those particular qualities. Has nothing (or very little) to do with a persons overall worth, intelligence, integrity, honor etc whatsoever.
