Getting various servers number was a weekly occurence in uni. One of the guys kept a tally within the friendgroup the first year.

Isn't this one of the absolutely most common professions? Making it, realistically, one of the most common professions to "score" with too?

no, I've never tried to pick up a waitress while she was working. 😅 I feel like I'd rather just enjoy the conversation and let her do her job. If there was genuine chemistry and she seemed interested outside of work, that's different, but I wouldn't want to make her uncomfortable while she's working.
