If you didn’t start dating until age 18, that is 18 years single so that would be a red flag in itself. So no I don’t view it that way.
Maybe they waited for right person, maybe their culture relies heavily on academics no fun or messing around or romance, maybe they were sexually assaulted or r-ped and took awhile to recover or they have a physical disability or condition to work through which put dating on the back wagon, their one true love died and felt guilty continuing on without them but got over it to focus on their family, their personal well being, etc.
They are entitled to their reasons, so I don’t judge and others shouldn’t be so quick to judge.
A decade or close to a decade is a yellow to red flag to me.
Also depends on why they were single and what were they doing during that time.
Can you expand on that? What would make you think yellow or red flag? Jc
If someone has been single for almost a decade or literally a decade… it means they’re not intentional about serious relationships or they have a lot of areas of growth they need to work on that they may or may not have done the work. Also, some people don’t wanna grow if they’re not being conscious or mindful about it in order to be in an actual healthy relationship.
Hmm all good points
Nope, what is a red flag is when they're trying to be in a relationship and they've been single less than a week

Not really. All my ex boyfriends never dated anyone before and were single their whole life. But I guess that's just expected at my age but I don't think this will ever be an issue for me.
Its not a red flag in on itself, but an existing red flag could be the reason behind it.
I don't particularly care. So no
Not automatically. Depends I guess.
Not at all.
not really
