When someone you are dating stands by their door and watches you walk out to your car and wait until you drive away does it mean it is the last time they will look at you?

No not at all.

Everytime I leave my fathers place. He stands at the door and watches me drive off. and after 47 years he still hasn't broken up with me. LOL!

It's more of a way of wanting to see a little bit more of you. Until you're together again.
