Is he going to leave me?

my boyfriend of 6-months has an anxious avoidant attachment style, meaning as much as he wants intimacy he’s afraid of it too!

I’m fully aware that anxious avoidant people find it difficult the deeper they get into a relationship, but I’ve made sure to ask him often if he’s ok with the pace of everything, he’s vocal enough to tell me and he knows he can tell me, every anxiety wave he’s said he felt better after talking to me.

In our culture we date to marry, he introduced me to his parents before I was even ready to tell mine, soon after our families have met a few times now, but he’s have a lot of anxiety about the future, I asked if the pace is too fast we can slow everything down, but he wanted our families to meet, he wanted the pace to stay as it is, everytime I asked!

He’s asked for a few weeks to regulate his feelings, he’s said he has love for me, and is comfortable with me, but not “in love” and I get that we’re Muslim so we don’t get intimate before marriage, and we’re both ok with that, I’m not “in love” with him either but I do love him
