Boyfriend said I'm a 'timid kisser'?

I asked him what kind of kisser he'd say I am and he said I'm more of a 'timid' kisser. I asked him what he meant by that and he said it seems like I'm almost holding back. I still don't really get what he means by that.

If anyone gets what he means by calling me a 'timid kisser', please enlighten me..

Not aggressive. More passive. Like you don't push your tongue in his mouth so much and he takes the lead. Most girls are this way. I find it a little annoying tbh. I kind of like the aggressiveness. Bite me! haha

A timid kisser would mean that maybe you don't really lean into the kiss, you don't use much tongue, or you do more of a bunch of small kisses than a long tonsil hockey match lol.
