I can't help but feel really attracted to men around the ages of 30-50. And that's crazy, considering I'm 16. It's not like I don't like guys more my age, but if i had the choice to date i'd go with an older guy anytime. I know many girls feel the same way.

Take famous actors as an example. If you make me choose between say johnny depp and liam hemsworth, i'd choose johnny depp everytime.

and it's not just some actor influenced thing either, the same goes for people that aren't famous but obviously I can't post pics of regular people here so I chose famous people as an example.

I find this infatuation very strange. Opinions?

*this is about girls liking older men, so bear that in mind before commenting something about boys liking older women. Of course it can be brought into the argument, but just make sure it doesn't lead it please.

By sext I mean having sex through text. So I'm texting a few guys who are interested some I've known for a year some a few weeks or days. I don't have any intentions other than to talk/hangout to be honest but some I do find attractive and would date if it went there when I'm ready. A few have flirted with me and have wanted to "cuddle" or sext and a part of me wants to but another part doesn't. I have a big sexual appetite so I want to indeed but I view sex a certain way and don't sleep around or just sext anybody so I'm having a bit of trouble with if I should or not.

I am fully single however I don't want to just do this or flirt back with these guys knowing I'm not exactly looking for a relationship right now as well as if I were to want one with them I don't want them to think of me as a slut or anything. I'd personally be comfortable with doing it if I was closer to some of them but I don't want to do that knowing I'm not really looking to date. Don't want to lead anyone on or waste their time. So should I just do it or not?

I went on this date with a really amazing guy. He offered a second date almost immediately after the first date but as politely as I could rejected him and wished him luck. The date itself went pretty good but It got a tad awkward at the end. I think he could tell I was a tad uncomfortable/nervous. I rejected him because I will be moving a few hours away soon and that I'm just scared to start dating again but the main reason was because i m not really physically attracted to him. He's not a bad looking guy but he's skinnier than me and it just makes me feel insecure I don't know. Sounds pathetic but I really like him and thought maybe the attraction will grow over time.. Am I wrong?
So If I ask him if we could still try dating again and tell him it was me being scared/insecure, do you think he would take me back? Its been 3 days since that date and we haven't spoken since. We used to talk everyday all day and I miss him

I recently met this guy through my best friend's engagement. He is the fiance's best man and I'm the maid of honor. We had a drunken hook up one night (no sex) & he said he has had a crush on me for a while now. We're supposed to go out and watch a movie & I'm terrible at first dates so I was thinking maybe I can invite the bride & groom and just do a double date to the movies or something?

Ok the amount of people i've heard say that women are only attracted to money.. money is all they care about.. the poll is anonymous anyway (no one knows who voted what) so guys and gals lets see how true this is and how many people actually would.
I personally most definitely would not.

I can't tell if this guy likes me but he never texts me first. We went on a couple of dates, the first one set up and the second one I asked. He told me he is shy but I never see that when I'm with him (he's super outgoing with me). He texts me back when I text him but he has not initiated any texts.
I don't know whether to text him or not because I don't want to come off as clingy vs confident.

Again, we all want a partner that is attractive AND has a good personality. And though women are reluctant to admit that they want an attractive partner, men aren't as reluctant. However, they still get labeled shallow. Many people who think that you are a monster for not asking out large women, or hairy women etc because you don't want them.
I feel that this is mostly a male issue because guess what, men are the ones who mainly approach/ask out. So they get the heat for not asking out the "Ugly Betty" or "Plain Jane."

So, yes I understand why men are, in my opinion, unfairly labeled shallow monsters for only approaching women they find physically attractive.

That said, do you think it's shallow to approach/ask a complete stranger out just because you find him or her attractive? If yes, why, if no why not? And do you think it's wrong?

Personally, again, I do think it's shallow, that's the dictionary definition of it, HOWEVER not wrong. Despite what all these "holier than thou" types would like to have you believe, you need physical attraction AND attraction to the personality and you can't really "overcompensate" in one area to make up for the other. It's human nature, and I don't know. I just can't believe how much shit people give others. Of course still be respectful to others, because just like you want an attractive person that you're approaching, they want someone attractive too.

We all know the time. His mom's opinion is law. His mom tends to come before you. He's always rushing to her when she calls. Basically, he's overly attached to his mom.
