Teens like myself think of themselves with permanent traits (e. g. I am unconfident or he is always more funny than me).

What’s the adult way of seeing a romantic partner? Do you label people less, and think everyone is capable of doing anything?

E. g., this guy’s hot but isn't confident, he’s still really attractive and his lack of confidence can be fixed.

In most relationships/marriages the man is higher earning, older and more intelligent. That’s how men attract women typically. Men attract women by being better than them.

So how can they be 100% equal on decisions, that’s the woman holding the man back. The man should be leading and mostly in charge.

It says on my profile, ‘What I look for in another person’ and I put, ‘beauty, down to earth and good connection.’
She said, ‘hey, I like most of your profile but beauty as a green flag? You can do better than that!’

I find that weird because who’s she to tell me what I should want.

I just started dating a girl who smokes regularly. I don't like that. But there are tons of things about her I do like. That is why I want to continue to see her even though I hate the fact that she smokes. Do you think it can work long-term?
