Usually this won't hurt your chances on a job , being you were forthcoming with her about your situation early. Had you told her you would be there and then had to call back and reschedual or just not shown up that would be much worse. Will you get the job that they had in mind for you that's something of a gray area , who really knows

Wait a bit longer for her to get back to you, and if you haven't heard by tomorrow (Friday) then call back or even just head back to the store and ask to speak with her. Be proactive... it'll show that you're serious about the job and should give a good early impression.

If you're attending orientation, then I assume you already were offered a position and accepted, and passed a background check/drug test.
You're fine. You'll probably get shit for it, but your job is probably secure. They just spent way too much money on you to throw it away that quick.She'll give you a call. Don't worry. Walmart employees are like fry cooks at McDonald's - they come and go all the time.
