doctor of medicine/bachelor of surgery plus a year as an intern (5 years)
Is that old?
No No noooo 26 isn't too old to graduate after completing all those studies and getting those degrees and completing internship. Just talking about the medical field, a medical doctor that's board certified in a specialties such as Internal Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Surgery, etc., etc., will be age 30 when they're done with all their studies including required internships because that requires 12 years after high school. Consider yourself young at 26. Besides, patients would get the feeling that taking such serious advice from someone as young as 26 or younger on such serious health issues as those fields I mentioned and many, many others would be too inexperienced. So you'd be just fine. .
26 with that much schooling/work. that's honestly a bit impressive. I've Mathers it out and with what I'm banning on, I'll be 29 or 30 when I'm done.
