Men dont know how to teach literally i never understood men teaching and men usually teach based on individuals like if they like few students they will teach them and be fair to them while ignoring and failing the others. Women know how to teach i can understand women much better women no matter how much she hates u and can't stand looking at ur face she would apperciate the efforts u put and grade u for it. WOMEN SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE TEACHING AT COLLEGE LEVEL!!!
Why feminists dont be an idiot its the the truth based on my experience it has nothing to do with feminism, down voting me just shows how much each single one of u is so insecure including the pink down vote

Opinion owner... stop acting like your somebody brah!!! What... felling lucky brah... You siding along with the feminist deal, really is disfavoravle. Thought a man would be a man...
I think men because of social norms and their confidence to express themselves fully. Women may be just as smart but they may be reluctant to express deep philosophy regarding a certain subject. In other words, "fear of seeming nerdy", something not commonly associated with females.
This does not depend on the gender but rather on the skill of the person to make kids understand complex subject easily and holding onto their attention for longer period of time. As well as becoming a mentor and an inspiration. According to me being a teacher is one of the toughest job in the world which is completely underrated and taken for granted.
I prefer guy teachers in Middle school education and higher. In my experience, I mostly had female teachers and it was a drastic change to be taught by a guy. They were more energetic, less uptight, and joked around quite a bit, making the class environment enjoyable. I had wonderful female teachers, along with some really bad ones, but my preference is male teachers.
It has nothing to do with gender. I've had women as teachers who I hated, and those who I really liked. I've had male trachers who were the worst, and those who were the best at teaching in the school. It's about individuals.
Both cn. Both my parents are teachers, eetired now, but both really good, their students loved them, and the parents usually liked their kids being in their classes.
Being a great teacher means you're well educated, passionate, and caring. It has nothing to do with gender. I've had fantastic male and female teachers throughout my academic career.
You can't take Robin Williams image and make it every male teacher. It's great for both sexes to want to do the job, motivation and experience usually decide effectiveness.
But yes, I can think of two male teachers who weren't coaches who were very good teachers. One was retired from NASA previously working as a rocket scientist.
He liked kids and teaching kids science and math. He pretty much didn't waste time on kids that were checking out though. There was one kid I wish he would have spent more time on.
Sometimes kids don't engage because no teacher ever believed in them. He did try and engage the kid because he saw how smart he was and I tried to encourage him that he knew the right answers all the time when we swapped sheets.
im sexist i prefer female teachers better i learned more and they understood me better , i tend to not listen to males during my time at school they never listened to me so i dont didn't bother with them
Really can't say. All the teachers I had were women and were so-so. I know that men tend to be pretty good at explaining things, which might count for something.
Men. But there's a lot of institutionalized gender discrimination against male teachers and more needs to be done to fix the gender imbalance in that progression.
The qualities that make a great or a bad teacher lie beyond gender. I had both great and terrible teachers of both genders in my time. Also it's to some extend very subjective what kind of character each individual can work with best.

I think women are probably better for teaching younger children, and men are better teachers for high school and beyond
The older a student gets the more they need a male role model. The reverse is true with women and younger kids.

All my favorite teachers were guys. The guys were always the chill teachers who were fun.

Agree.
Gender doesn't make a difference in teaching skills.
The qualities that make a great or a bad teacher lie beyond gender. I had both great and terrible teachers of both genders in my time. Also it's to some extend very subjective what kind of character each individual can work with best.
Gender has no bearing on how good of a teacher they are. I've had good and horrible teachers of both genders.
Since all men are perverts, molesters, rapists, misogynists, and are just bad, women of course!
Both. in my opinion It depends on the skill of person. not on gender
Who has the better credentials and understanding of the subject and is better able to communicate it?
