A protester jumps up and completely pulls the office off the horse and onto the ground. He has been dehorsed.
Did i make this up? I feel the phrase comes from joisting.
Not sure if it's a word. I know dismount is if they were to get off intentionally, but in that context I'm not sure
Unhorsed would be the proper word, I think. De-horsing is the act of a car seller allowing a customer a test drive.
jousting?
I think it could be a word, even if it is not.
language is pretty fluid...

maybe the mean "the horse" but their accent make it sound dehorse )
The phrase is “unhorsed.”
It sort of is like deplaned.
Hmmm very good point. Deplane is orderly. As should dehorse be. That gives traction to unhorse but the thing is, in a riot, the word is dehorse or unhorse depending on the bad vocal of your southern district.
I just remember hearing that a student dehorsed a cop spoken by a policeman. It was very scary.
Guess the right word in the situation would be "pulled him off his horse" but I don't think English vocabulary was running through the guys head in that situation.
"Unhorsed" sounds more correct to me.
It's dismounted
You mean jousting
No in the last sentence its jousting not jousting, an I guess dehorse is a word
Isn't that when you make a horse *not* a horse?
The correct term would be "dismounted".
I believe you are correct.
